Another beautiful day at Mullet! So nice to see the blue skies again —-and the gorgeous blue water. You still have to watch the waves.
Great night. We went back to Secret Seafood to see Bobby Barren perform. He was great. He’s there on Wednesday nights. Don’t miss him. The food was very good!

we are going to be cruising with several other couples, stopping in the ABC Islands. One lady in our group is blind and will be travelling with her seeing eye dog. Can anyone advise where we can get information on entering these countries with the dog?
Thanks,
BobandJeana

Just a heads up. Got a message back from Yellow Beach on Pinel that they will be closed the entire month of June for their annual vacation. Was good to know as we'll be they in May and July.

Anyone hear about this?
Missing/Stolen yacht From The Moorings Tortola, BVI, we have a missing 42' monohull named Sloop Dog, last seen last night in Cane Garden Bay. Possibly stolen. Do we have any captains or crew in Jost Van Dyke or elsewhere who could keep an eye out for it, please?
In all my years of going to the BVI I have not heard of this happening.

I’m sure the cabbie union is strong on the island, but Uber (or similar) has been quite convenient on recent trips to Europe and Asia.
Has Uber had any inroads on the island even if it were cabbies responding.
Even when we moved by various means in other countries sometimes we said “see if we can get an Uber to place X”
Very nice not to be worried about cash or unscrupulous cabbies.

Today was the first truly beautiful day since we arrived. The sun shone brilliantly for the entire day, which we spent at RI pool. Dany’s for happy hour and a gorgeous sunset followed. Dinner at Burger Bar then a very quick trip into Casino Royale. Back home to RI for a chill evening. What can I say? We’re a bit boring 🤷🏻♀️

I drink mostly California red wine. Cabs and zins. The cali wines in BVI are expensive and hard to get. Wife drinks whites. Mostly chards. Looking for recommendations for good wine brands at a good price point given the availability and costs to get them to the islands.

With all due respect to other charter companies I've just never chartered with anyone other than The Moorings. It's what I started with back in the 80's and I just stayed with a known quantity. I know I probably pay more but I've always gotten great service and I felt comfortable paying for it
For my upcoming trip in June I'm starting to get perturbed with them. I've got some questions on my paperwork and I wanted to arrange transportation from Beef Island to the base. I called in and after a brief hold got the "We'll call you back" automated response. They called me back at least a day later - maybe even two - but the person I spoke with couldn't handle my request and needed to pass me off to another department. Can you guess where this is going?
I was transferred to the other department and soon got the "We'll call you back" response. That was over a week ago.
I sent an email yesterday morning and have not heard back as of 10 pm tonight.
I'm not used to this kind of service from "The world's premiere yacht charter company". Are they having staffing problems? What's going on?

It’s been a long week, but now we are starting to get out and about. Greenhouse fit the bill for a light dinner. It’s been a while since we
had been there, due to lack of parking. We had no problem last night and the food and service were both good. No service charge was added to the bill. We left a little over 20%.
Today was a gorgeous day at Mullet! Another place we had stopped going, but the water there is like no other beach . Hopefully the waves will remain calm for future visits.
