He is soooo cute. That's the one I would have chosen too. I didn't know they got so big! I like the suggestions above of Ivan. He looks like an Ivan to me. How about Ricky - short for Leverick.

'they', whoever 'they' is, say that a name for an animal shouldn't be more than two syllables, as otherwise they don't relate to it well.

and also I have found with cats that they do prefer a name ending in the "ee" sound BUT as long as you say it in a high enough pitched voice they will come LOL! (funny to hear the guys do this!) Pearl and Pyrat totally know their names here. I still like Sir Francis even with 3 syllables because he looks like he should have a title

It's true Laura. That's one reason we picked Foxy for our current kitty.

I've heard that cats don't like names with a lot of 's' sounds or that end in 's' like Chris, or Francis. That's because it sounds like a hiss, which they don't like of course.

Please keep the name suggestions coming!

How about Seddy

We named a dog Seddy, but he is no longer with us.

Dang it, Carol, you stole my name! As I recall, I suggested that name for Walt's first cat, so if you win we will have to work something out...
