Thanks for the information...probably not a destination that will be high on our list

My daughter is in Spain right now, not far from this location: http://www.costanatura.com/ This place is going on my 'bucket list'. It looks fabulous! Anyone on here been there? I'd love a first hand review.
:)

Sorry Marc, not trying to thread heist, just throwing a neat looking place out there for consideration.

No problem at all. Any suggestions are appreciated. In doing research, there also seems to be some nice places in Croatia and Bulgaria. We will still be doing a Club O trip next year, but also looking for maybe something different, as it will my wife's 40th birthday..

I think the beach at Cap d'Adge is about twice the length of Orient Beach, though I could be wrong. Note that despite all the (legitimate) negatives, I think this is a place every naturist ought to go to once in their lives just to see the scale of the nude area. But I don't plan to go back.

Sorry, Richard, not everyone has unlimited sources of income and vacation time. If one lives in Europe, perhaps, or you live in the US or Canada and combine it with a trip to Europe that one would otherwise be going on, then I might accept your premise. But if not, and if one already knows it's probably not going to be your cup of tea, I do not agree.

I think Orient is about 2 miles end to end- experts may correct - while the nude part at Cap d'A is I believe about 2 kms.
I sorta agree that a trip to Cap should be like the pilgrimage to Mecca if you're a true nude. But it's a seriously weird Mecca. Nuff said. End.

I think it's closer to 1.3 - 1.5 miles. It's hard to measure online since it's so curved.

I'm hardly an expert on that, but I thought it was longer.

I think that's a good analogy. I think it's the kind of place that everybody who's seriously interested in naturism should find a way to visit sometime in their life (perhaps indeed by merging it with some other reason to be in Europe).

Hello
I am french and naturist with my wife
I have been in Cap Agde too and I can say that isnt maybe the right place for swingers but not for naturists
And in the french naturist forum, Cap Agde is the worst place in France

In Spain, we have been in Vera Playa : Hotel Vera Playa club and it was fine with a long sandy beach even the sea (in June) was a bit dangerous

Other nice nudist places in France are at the west coast like La Jenny direct at a wide sandy beach with dunes : you dont will need to seat on the towel of your neighboor there !

If you like the center of our contry, La Sabliere for exemple near the Dordogne river is a very nice nudist resort and where you can hike nude in the nature

This is about Costa Natura.
We went there for a few days a few years ago. We rented one of the smaller units and that was a mistake. Small, hard beds and not a whole lot more in the unit. Made our studio at Club O look like a mansion. If we were to go there again we would rent something closer to the largest units there.
Nice pool, unfortunately full of sniveling enfants virtually all day long. I got up early to swim, before the kids got up. Beach was not nice at all: rocky and the water was full of crud. The place was indeed clothing optional: clothing was discouraged all day long, but we were the only nude people in the restaurant in the evening. Fortunately, there are some pretty good restaurants in Estepona which we went to some evenings. If one was to dress, why bother with the relatively crummy restaurant at the resort? ONe thing that we Americans found odd was that the place did not provide for towels for the beach or pool, so you must bring your own. Another trip into Estepona.

Agreed. But having done that, we don't have to (and won't) do it again.

Visited there several times over one summer several years ago. From the other posts, doesn't appear much has changed. July and August...place is packed! We saw lots of families, singles, folks of all ages. Large beach area...hot sand...ice cold Mediterranean water with lots of sea shells to gather. Lodging is usually required on weekly basis...Sat to Sat. Exception was "Hotel Eve" which had daily rates and is where we stayed for a few nights. During the day nudism is everywhere...shops, restaurants, bank, gas station and of course the beach and all the various pools across the complex. During the evening, most dress for dinner. There is definitely a crowd "marching to a different drummer" in the evenings as there are several "adults only" venues open in the evenings in the complex. For example, one evening we saw a couple all decked out in what one might call "S&M" attire...pushing their toddler in a stroller (presumably to a babysitter while they went out). Facilities across the complex were showing wear and tear several years ago, so what shape they're in now could be questionable. We definitely want to return to France someday, and visit among other things some of their nudist venues since for the most part, the French are very nonchalant about nudism/naturism. La Jenny on the Atlantic Coast is top on our list to possibly visit.
