Do they hassle you if you do not buy a pass?

We stayed there about 6 years ago. Had a great cottage just feet away from the ocean---a calm and quiet beach. There are four beaches, one that was in front of our cottage is maybe 100 meters long and quiet. There is one where most of the water sports stuff was--shorter and still pretty quiet water. One beach is small and with more wave action and the fourth, Eden beach (clothing optional), is a 5-10 minute walk from most of the rooms and is 200-300 meters long, without services and with minimal chairs/palapas. There were never more than 6 people on that beach anytime we were there but like I said, that was several years ago. Need anything else get me at achdrbrown@aol.com

Probably book tomorrow for a week at Hawksbill. Has anyone been here recently that can provide an update on the resort and the CO beach.

The co beach is the same as ever. Still there and no facilities on it. It's called Eden Beach. The hotel has a lot of repeat guests. It has the charm of older type caribbean hotel a little tired in places the grounds are lovely as are the staff. It's AI and I would say the food is good. It has four wonderful beaches including the co one. The older rooms in the gardens can get hot. If it were me I would try book the rooms on the first beach or on the third beach, they have ac.

How much does the day pass cost? Where do you get the drinks from? I have to assume that you have to get dressed and go to a restaurant for the lunch as the last time we were there--a long time ago, admittedly--there were NO facilities on the nude beach.

From the Hawksbill website:

Day Passes

All Inclusive Day Passes are available which include:

Meals, Drinks and Usage of Facilities

9am-6pm US$60 per person

11am-4pm US$40 per person

7pm-11pm US$50 per person

Children under 12 are half price.

We were there a few weeks ago. There is nothing on Eden beach, the C/O beach other than a few palapas and beach loungers. Lots of loungers and shade under palm trees though. Yes you have to get dressed and walk a few minutes to the beach grill for drinks and lunch but it was a nice break for us to get up and stretch. Nice quiet resort if you just want to relax.
