Question - why would one pay approximately a 30% premium as compared to other cruise lines to go on a BN c/o cruise and stay clothed?

Are these cruises usually on out of date boats to lesser ports or are they top of the line? Does the service slip for these cruises or stay top notch?

There basically is no such thing as 'out of date' SHIPS these days. All your major cruise lines (which the BN cruises sail on), have virtually all new ships. They do Carnival, Celebrity, Wind Star, Star Clipper, I think they even did Holland America one time. All newer ships. Service is as good, and often better, than the regular cruises.

That used to be the case years ago. Today the cruise lines have realized that nude passengers are an experienced and affluent group of travelers that require more out of a cruise than simply the opportunity to take their clothes off. At least that is what we were told by the Texas based travel agent that booked our last nude cruise.

Ships used on nude cruises have changed drastically. If you look at the cover of an older edition of the North American Guide To Nude Recreation copyright 1993 there is a couple on a beach looking out at an RCCL ship I recall was the Nordic Prince. That ship was 18,436 tons in the nautical meaning of tons. Nude cruises today are aboard ships like the Radiance of the Seas at 90,000 tons and the larger 110,000 ton Carnival Freedom.

I would suggest you go to the BNTT website, cruisenude.com and look at the ships they are chartering. From that you can form your own opinion.

Yes. You have to have on clothes when in port and in main dining room. Everywhere else is clothing optional.
