Top 3 US based A/n resorts? Yr opinion.
      #1444358 - 10/02/12 09:51 PM (68.59.22.231)

BAsed on quality of the facility?
HAve only been to Desert Sun in US.
Have been to Caliente caribe (DR), hidden beach (mex) and Braco (JAM).\which i thought were real nice. So many of the recommended US resorts look like camp sites.

For the money, being a Californian, Desert Sun. But, if you want to save a little more, LDS Laguna Del Sol in Wilton CA. near Sacto.

And heading East: Cypress Cove, Caliente, Paradise Lakes

And heading north from Florida to the mid-Atlantic area, we would put Avalon in the top three, both for the facilities and most of all for the friendly, welcoming people.

I've only been to Caliente, Paradise Lakes and Avalon in the US. To me, the only one of those, if you are looking strictly ONLY at facilities, that would compare with Braco, would be Caliente.

Based only on the quality of the facility, including the grounds, I would say:

Caliente (FL)
Desert Sun (CA)
Mira Vista (AZ)

Based on value:

Paradise Valley (GA) [I'd put the facilities and accommodations up with any of the three above, but the landscaping does not compete]

And I can't accept that many of the recommended US based A/N resorts look like camp sites. Besides the ones above, I don't think that description could apply to:

Laguna Del Sol (CA)
Terra Cotta Inn (CA)
Paradise Lakes (FL)
(at least, and perhaps others as well)

Cypress Cove was wonderful! Great ammenities, nice lodging, food, and overall nudist family friendly environment.

I can guess that you've not been to Cypress Cove which has great resort-type facilities, and the blessings of an almost tropical environment, making it a year-round joy.
We've been to the "Resorts" at Desert Sun, Mira Vista, Caliente and Terra Cotta. And to the "Parks" at Sunsport, Sunnier Palms, Shangri-La and Oaklake Trails. We keep going back to Cypress Cove even though we're beach people and most enjoy Haulover, Playalinda, Fire Island and the offshore experience of Orient Beach in St. Martin.
The Cove has that definition-quality of "Ambiance" that makes it special.

We haven't been to Cypress Cove, but I swear I used to hear people describe it as 'rustic', so we were never interested. Although I have also heard it described as much more traditionally 'naturist' than either Paradise or Caliente, neither of which have I liked the 'vibe'.

Make your 150 minute trip and see a real nudist resort. No airs, no lingerie, just real nudist people.
The combination of hotel guests among residents and RVers makes a great experience.
