So, you think it would mold better if there was more gelatin?

It should be two small packages of Jello or one large package of Jello, not one small.

Chunky Sweet Cranberry Relish with Jello
Preparation Time:10 min

Cooking Time:15 min

Ingredients
2 small packages raspberry jello
1 cup sugar (I usually reduce to 1/2 cup)
1 cup boiling water
2 cups cranberries, chopped fine
2 cups chopped apples, peeled & chopped fine (I like Granny Smith)
2 or 3 stalks of celery, chopped fine
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Instructions

1.Dissolve jello and sugar in boiling water.
2.Chop cranberries, apples, celery and walnuts in food processor - I usually do this about a cup at a time in my mini chopper - chop pretty fine.
3.Add the fruits and veggies to the jello. Chill. You can put this in a festive mold, if desired.

That looks pretty good also! What size can of pineapple, the small one or the large one?

ina's jalapeno cheddar cornbread recipe

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/jalapeno-cheddar-cornbread-recipe/index.html

i usually make these as muffins, but time limiting i threw it into a 9x13 casserole.

smashed cauliflower

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/smashed-cauliflower/detail.aspx

some reviews said that it was like soup... i should've heeded the reviews. i actually strained this with cheesecloth. taste was still very good.

banana bread w/ chocolate chips

georgia's green bean casserole

not sure if i used the wrong casserole size... it was good, but for the 8x8 surface area on top, too much cheese for my tastes.

dharma's potato filling pre-baking

this was a big hit. this will be part of my thanksgiving tradition. i kept it chunky, but may dice celery and bread smaller next time. LOVED this recipe. thanks again.

i also made the autumn apple cake again. not sure what i did different, but this time it did not come out very well... it was pale and taste off. it may have been the gin cocktail that p made me... he makes a stiff drink.

homemade vanilla ice cream was also made; it went so fast that i forgot to photo it. sorry.

I think I'm coming to your house for Thanksgiving next year!

If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be a horrible warning.

Actually my recipe calls for one small package of jello. It is meant to be a relish not a molded or congealed salad.

L, the green bean casserole works better in a 9X13 pan...I should have specified that. Still, your picture looks perfect; I recognized it immediately!

what's funny is that as i was making it, i had a feeling it should be a bigger casserole size since the bean and cheese layer were pretty proportionate. but my rule with a recipe is to make it as is the first time, tweek next time. now i know. can't wait to do this all over again next year!
