We got rid of those muscle cars in the 70's since gas prices went up. I traded mine in when gas went way up to $.46 a gallon in 1974! I could make payments on my little four banger with the savings in gasoline.

Pong

The start of many computer console games.

Then computers -- remember the 5 1/2 floppy!

Remember the 8" floppy? Very few people experienced that!

I forget the model but we had an IBM computer with dual 5 inch floppy drives, no hard drive and a 6 inch color monitor: Green and black! I think it had 25K of memory. $20,000 in those days for our business that we were required to have but never used, Even the company that required us to get it didn't use it. I think it was the first desktop size computer running DOS. It did have some games! LOL I was very happy when the Apple came out and later the Macintosh.

How about the "mod" look from England. Cork soled shoes, Suit jackets with no lapels. and best of all the Sassoon hair style.

My first computer had 2 floppy drive, paid extra for that extreme feature! My monitor was the amber one!

Eventually was able to splurge and get that huge 10 meg hard drive, was in heaven as I had unlimited storage and could never ever use it all!

Remember seeing them, but never used one.

Also remember the noise from the first modems!

I used to dial up for the internet. The University of Maine in this area had four phone lines. You had to wait in order to use it if it was a 'busy' time. I did some work for the University so I was one of the lucky few in this area to get a loggin id. We went through different modems since they kept coming up with faster and faster (snail's pace).

I also had to boot it up each time.
