Go ahead Carol, rub it in! And to think it was in the 80's today at our house in AZ. We must be nuts to be up here and not there. At least we haven't lost electricity - yet...

It's Monday morning and so far we've gotten about 14 inches and it's not stopping. The windrows left by the plows are quite high. At least the snow is light and powdery. I expect the ski slopes will still be open for the 4th of July....

Ah, the power of positive thinking. At least the skiers and ski resort owners are lovin' it.....but the teachers and school kids will probably still be in school by then!

Sitting by the fire, listening to Sarah Vaughn "Moonlight in Vermont", very grateful that the lawn will not need mowing, and enjoying a good book. Thank you, God.

This morning I posted we had about 14 inches, it is now just after 2 and it hasn't stopped, I guess another 4 inches brings us to about 18 so far and it's still snowing. It's supposed to end sometime this evening. :)
OH.....by the way, another snow fall is coming Thursday into Friday. Is this global warming?????

Not global warming; It is snow globing!

Methinks someone likes to rub it in! We all have our reasons for living where we are and the snow and the cold - This too shall pass! That machine they have in Boston shows that the snow will melt.

Yes, everyone has to make their own decisions about where they live. Cost us a lot of money to leave the DC area and the employment opportunities there, but I am just too old to deal with snow and cold any more..

Maybe that's why we all love SXM so much. You never have to worry about the snow there !!

We haven't had a great deal of snow in Madison, Wisconsin this year, and what we have had is spaced apart well time wise. We have the extreme cold for the next week. But what to do with that snow, here if we have a lot of snow, there are a lot of one way streets, they pile the snow in the middle of an intersection, and it works beautifully, particularly for wider one way streets.
