Hi all! It has been a few years since we have chartered a catamaran. Last time we did it through TMM and had a great experience. We have been land based on STT the last few years, and we will again this December. However, I am looking for next year. Dad....our captain....is getting up there in age but just agreed to captain us again next year
Here is what we are looking for. A power cat that will sleep my parents, hubby and I, and our 2 teenaged daughters. They can sleep together if need be. I would prefer a full fridge and freezer as the ice box kills me I would also like air...I am getting more high maintenece with age. If you know of a regular catamaran that has these things that would be good, too. Mom can't handle the rock-n-rolling of a mono anymore so those are out!
Also, I am wondering who has the best rates, but NOT with compromising quality. I am so looking forward to get back on a boat and I knew you guys/gals are the ones to ask! I would prefer to charter out of Tortola, but STT would be ok I guess. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me!

TMM has a couple of Lagoon Power Cats, which are really roomy.

May want to consider a crewed charter aboard Catittude if there are enough cabins, Paul and Carolyn are really super and their little dog LuSea is just too much fun as well!

I just came across a post on the charter thread of a cat out of STT. Looks really nice, they just put a new fridge and freezer on the boat too. You can find the thread here: http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/s...e=0#Post1187000

The power cat with the new freezer and fridge, stainless steel I might add is Cat Escape. I had her a few weeks ago, actually my fourth charter with CYOA. The boat is absolutly perfect in every repect. Kept like new and runs fantastic. We had three couples on board with plenty of room. Ran the gen all night and very comfortable inside all cabins. Check out CYOA, you wont be dissapointed. Also, look in to their provisioning package. We used Fine Foods Afloat, actually my 15th time using them. More than enough very high quality food on board. Great meats and producue and full of food suprises. They say you get four dinners with the package, funny, we only ate out one night and still had left overs.

We are just back from a charter on a regular cat called the Indigo from TMM. She had everything you're looking for. AC, fridge and freezer that worked great! Very comfy boat and the people at TMM couldn't have been nicer. There were 4 births also. Have a great trip!

Sounds like a litter!
TMM specs say she also has four berths.

It started out a 9 month cruise and ended as a maternity cruise.
