Charlieh - what a beautiful idea, that way he can always provide light! The daughter of a friend who died several years ago, put some of her mother's ashes into glass beads. The daughter then took the trip to Japan she and her mother had planned, and left the glass beads in all the special spots she and her mother had talked about for years. Really a fabulous remembrance.

We lost our son last May and we can not decide what to do as well with his ashes, so it is certainly not a bad question. You will make the right choice at the right place.

I've requested my ashes, when it happens to be taken out to my favorite dive site in St Maarten and let the current take me away.

Follow your heart; you will know what feels right and gives you a sense of peace, knowing that your hearts are connected. May your memories be rich treasures.
