4th of July Hurricane?
      #1597256 - 07/03/14 09:19 PM (73.38.155.131)

Looks like a lot of July 4th plans along the East Coast are going to be changed because of Hurricane Arthur. What a bummer.

Watching the Boston Pops concert right now. They moved it and the fireworks up a day. Some towns did cancel completely, unfortunately.

We have a really good fireworks show on a barge off the beach in Falmouth - postponed until Sunday night. We're now in a tropical storm warning. Happy 4th of July!

Arthur has come and gone here in North Carolina, so our fireworks will go on as scheduled. Wishing the best to those now in his path.

The winds weren't bad at all; not enough to wake me up. Unfortunately I forgot to reset the weather station, so I don't know what the highest gust was. I do know it was less than 43 mph, as that's still on record from February. We're not on the coast, though.

We sat on the beach on that Sunday and watched the Falmouth fireworks....pretty cold out due to continued 25 knot winds, but great fireworks!
