July 4 in the BVI's
      #1639631 - 03/21/15 01:51 PM (104.189.159.207)

I appologize if this is an insensitive question, but can anyone tell me if there is any July 4 celebrations in the BVI's? I know. Why would there be? We will be in the BVI's over the 4th and I was just wondering. Maybe we will have to take the ferry back to St. Thomas to celebrate. But thanks for any information.

Sail445, Cinco de Mayo is huge in Texas. Mainly happy hours with lots of tequila and Mexican Beer.

Thanks Manpot. Had to look up Guy Fawkes day, but it sounds like a lot of fun. It might be nice to plan a trip to the BVI's in November since I could celebrate my birthday along with Guy Fawkes day.

Thanks Sail2wind. Hadn't thought of St. John. It would be easier to go there. I will check it out.

Some people say you can see the fireworks from White Bay, our 1st hand account, you can not.

Considering today's Congress a US verion of Guy Fawkes day sounds like a pretty good idea!

St John has fire works that you can enjoy from your boat on a mooring or ashore from Cruz Bay across to Saphire bay in St Thomas.
I like the BVI's tremendously but it's totally commercial, St John has my heart.
