We are contemplating a first time trip next spring, maybe April, and am wondering if this is a good time to go or if there tend to be more jellyfish during that time or not? Our neighbor mentioned they were tere around that time of year and that beaches were closed because the jellies were so bad. I wasn't sure if this was a fluke or if there are times that they are more prevelant. Thanks!

Not sure what your neighbor means by beaches being closed (they have not been), but there are rarely any issues related to jellyfish in Cayman that would force you from the water. On occasion there can be groupings of thimble jellyfish that may cause an itching reaction to some individuals, but they would usually show up in May/June.

Snorkel air just tastes better than canned air...
