Trip dates of 06/23-06/30. 3 ladies in their mid-30's in our group. Which would be better? Can't decide!!
2 single ladies and one married....but we like to have fun...dancing, shopping, etc. And none of us have been to Cancun.

Oasis is in the Hotel Zone, Villa Palmar is not. For the activities you asked about, the Hotel Zone is WAY better. Look at a map! Also check weather info for June.

We decided on Grand Oasis based on the location and activities.
I'll check out the weather for June....but is there a concern we should be aware of? I thought I read in an earlier post that June was a good time to go?? We are all looking for the heat....so if it's the warmer weather, we're fine with that!
Thanks for your help

Rain Chart
June is the rainiest month here, except for tropical storm activity. I see that you are from Seattle but rain and beach do not go together well.

Dang, really?? Found a weather site & it was saying it does rain but short spurts that come & go with temps in high 80's & 90's. Should we be worried?
Since I do live in Seattle, I'd like it if the 7 day vacation isn't ruined with all rain all day!
Ugh.....

I stayed at the Grand Oasis several years ago. I would return in a minute but my wife is afraid of the drug violence.
Personally, I haven't heard of any problems in Cancun.
Have fun, wish I was there.

Crack a cervasa and calm down A very informative article. Cancun is about as far from the very nasty stuff at the border as Disney is from Detroit. Get a map!
