Would not take a free ride on Spirit ! Because most of us know that NOTHING is free on Spirit 😂 If it the flight were free, there would be a charge/fee for: A seat to sit down A cushion for your seat Seat belt fee Oxygen to breathe Aisle usage fee Pay toilets w/extra fee if you want to wash your hands after And I’m sure others that haven’t been disclosed. Kudos to you for figuring out their fare chart, which has to be the most convoluted ever! Our thrifty CPA friend was flying down, and found Spirit. I reminded him he is 6'4", and would need to pay extra for a big enough seat. Seriously, just buy a Southwest seat to San Juan and connect on Seaborne or InterCaribbean. Or drive to Charlotte and catch a direct flight via American Airlines. I hate AA but live to close to Charlotte to not use them. I have discovered that if I book early enough I can fly 1st class for only about $150 per person more than the coach fare. At least it has worked for the last 3 trips.
Go Irish!! Bill
