We have one of our crew coming from Vermont to STT meeting us there. She has scheduled an ID Now Rapid Diagnostic Test at Walgreens. She believes the ID Now test is a "NAAT" test - i.e nucleic acid amplification test. It doesn't specifically say "rapid antigen" test - the words the BVI uses on their website. The USVI travel site says this:
"Domestic travelers must submit a negative result from an antigen or nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) (e.g., RT- PCR) COVID-19 test taken within 5 days of travel."
We are traveling next week so no time to order the Binax Now tests from Optum. Last resort I can overnight mail one to her.
Thoughts on this ID Now Rapic Diagnostic Test from Walgreens being acceptable? (we're flying to STT and water taxi to BVI)
