Did everyone know that Mary's Boon is up for sale? I just saw this information today and was amazed that it has been on the market since atleast March of this year. Why am I always the last one to find out? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Well, you knew before I did. I hope a buyer can be found and it will be their passion to run the place. It is a great location and have had many good times there.

There was a posting on 2/29 that linked to an ad on this. I'm sure that Mark & Carla would like to get it off their hands.

Link below should work but there are quite a few more listings. Just do a google search "Marys Boon for sale" and you will get quite a few results.

Google search brought up a listing with LoopNet for $6,000,000 US$ for Mary Boone's.

Yes, it started at $6.8 million and the price has been reduced. Follow the link below to the listing brochure.

Thanks for the link. I wonder why they never sold off the condo units.

I have stayed at Mary's Boon many many times over the past 10 years and can tell you for fact that Mark and Karla are NOT really anxious to sell Mary's Boon but are not getting any younger and have kids and grandkids they would like to spend more time with. I know it bothers Mark to be limited in his time to be on property but his staff does a really great job and he is working daily to make it better. From what I heard They owned it for 11 years then sold it in 2007 so the kids could get a USA education. They have done a great job and spent a lot of time and money after buying it back in 2012 when it got into a kinda run down shape. They didn't have to but hated how it was looking and running. I know this summer a lot of work had been done. Everything is for sale , I don't think it's being pushed that much to sell but it's a real gem and special place for sure. I think they always will be involved somehow and picky on who might buy it. I know he said if that happened it would be more bitter than sweet. Time will tell.

We have stayed there so many times. Always a beautiful way to spend a "holiday" on there beach!!! The honor bar and the fresh food at the restaurant!! One time Louise ordered the lobster salad. I'm not a lunch guy, but my time "limit" was ticking LOL. Only to find out that they sent one of the guys to Uncle Harry's restaurant /market for a fresh lobster!! Now that is fresh! Talk about going the extra mile for a guest!

Sand Gravity, got to love it!
