Exactly...I think boarding group 1 on my last trip had about 5,000 in it...(maybe a bit of an exaggeration)

We always buy the "more room" tickets so we can board early and have space for our one carry-on for the two of us. (not one each) It was always a problem finding space, when others would have 2 or 3 large cases.

If people followed rules and airlines enforced them, it would be so easy!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Once in Italy we saw it enforced at the airport. No one got on with more than allowed. It was beautiful! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

..of course, with all the airline affinity cards these days, it seems like everyone is supposedly entitled to priority boarding... except me... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Mad.gif" alt="" />

I've never understood the bid deal about priority boarding. So you get to be the first one to sit in a seat that is way too small. Good for you.

It's all about the availability of the overhead bins.

Agreed. Otherwise, it makes no difference, to me anyway.
