We used it last Spring and it was definitely $20.00 pp and well worth it if your wait was a long one. Not so much, IMHO, if your wait is less than an hour. At least the chairs are comfortable and the atmosphere is pleasant and the restrooms are always clean. The drinks and snacks don't hurt either.
Respectfully,

$20 is about the cost for two glasses of wine in the terminal, plus you get snacks, like chicken wings, etc. To me, if you're planning on getting anything to eat or drink at the terminal, it's worth it.

I ask because I just got a discount offer for a 1 year pass to airport lounges and SXM is on the list so I wonder if it's worth $69 or if I can just buy SXM. Just out of curiosity and maybe OT just a bit, but where did you find the $69 offer?

That's what we did, except Eric is the one who has the card--an old timer Diner's card, which I don't have. We paid $20 for me to get in.

Eric_Hill said: Check out your benefits from the card, it should tell you. Exactly. The Soualiga Lounge is part of the Priority Pass network of lounges. Check to see if Priority Pass is a benefit of your card. It is if you still have a grandfathered Diners Club (they no longer accept new individual accounts), Amex Platinum, and some other cards. A Priority Pass membership card is typically issued to the primary cardholder, and does not have free guest privileges. If there is an additional cardholder on the account then some card companies will also arrange to have a Priority Pass card issued to the additional cardholder - ask!
