SeaStar said: We are bringing a number of items from home that we will use and/or being leaving behind and wanted to pack a box. However, American's website states boxes can't be used to the Caribbean. We have status so there is no fee. Anyone have suggestions besides bringing an extra suitcase? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/thanks.gif" alt="" /> Have you called AA and actually talked to an agent regarding this? They make the rules and will have the final call.

If you're going to leave the items behind, why don't you just leave them behind in the extra suitcase you're taking? Not sure what the advantage is of a box over a suitcase anyway?
