This morning St. Barts was almost perfectly clear. Clearer than I remember seeing it in a long time. You could see the details of the island with out binoculars. Saba was fairly clear also. But since then they both have come and gone multiple times this morning. Right now if you did not know where Saba was, you would just think it was a cloud. St. Barts is obvious, but not like this morning.

Still think Pat has something to do with it, by not wanting to share the view of both islands with others. She just wants them for herself!!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

Of course the passing rain showers this morning even made Simpson Bay completely disappear at one point for a few minutes.

Now bright blue skies and no rain clouds to be seen.

I think you accuse me unjustly, Eric!

I would eagerly share both islands and I absolutely LUV to share our great Saba experiences with anyone who will listen.

But i must admit, I love the explanation I was given for this Saba disappearance phenomenon a year or so back.....

"There really is no such island called Saba. It's but a figment of our over active imaginations. What we see periodically is really just a cardboard cut-out tied to a boat and towed back and forth every now and then to arouse our curiosity!"

I forget which over active imagination here on the forum came up with that explanation, but I loved it!! Almost as much as I love Saba..... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

Respectfully,

And the big key to your post is: "Haaaa, not fair for all those folks who get seasick trying to find it."

Think just MAYBE this is a big ruse to fool us!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Amazingly it comes and goes like it does.

Now thinking Pat is correct!!! (but she was not suppose to inform/tell/spill the beans!. Think maybe is it a carboard cutout that is being towed!!! )

Rain this morning over toward "Saba and St Barts" --- hummmmmmmmmmmm! disappeared!!! Sounds really convenient doesn't it??? Carboard and rain, generally does not mix???? The plot gets thicker and thicker, think about it????????? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

Amazingly Pat says they actually went there. Is that a true story OR that they were approached by the scratch off ticket people??? Get three XXX and you win!!!

Maybe the had a big lunch or island cruise.... do you know????

Interesting isn't it???? Just asking!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Then the "wonderful" trip --- but "NOTICE" there are NEVER PICTURES!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" /> Just making an observation, would never suggest anything else! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

I think, maybe this takes more investigation!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

Something just does not seem right?????????? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />
