Do I really need to drag my snorkel gear with me from home to snorkel at Divi and Pinel? Or does Divi offer it to their guests? Trying to lighten my packing load. Thanks

You can rent from Divi or Pinel. No free loners.

we always bring our own mask and snorkel. Takes up very little room, wouldn't term it as dragging my gear down. my mask fits perfect, I only use a dry snorkel, and my mouth is the only one to use it.

Its the fins that take up space especially when you have 4 people!

If I was of a mind to snorkel these days and had a mask that fit well, I'd opt for bringing it with me. Every time we ever snorkeled I'd end up with a leaky mask. My eyes are extremely sensitive to almost anything but particularly so to salt walter....

And re the snorkel, the idea of using one that has been in who knows how many mouths before mine has always grossed me out a bit. They say it's no problem, but don't they say, "No problem, Mon...." to almost everything in the Caribbean?

Respectfully,

pat

Yes, the water sports at Club O did rent them last time we were there. Pretty cheap too. Wasn't worth packing my own for the price they charged.
