Another installment of pics from the Maryland Pirates 2017 Painkiller Tour... around Marina Cay and Scrub Island.

Our Dingy Captain and Kid Squid with some delicious fruit that's growing wild on Marina Cay.
The bartender let us try some. Tart and sweet.

Back on board for dinner - filet mignon for us, dogs for the kids.

It was tight, but all 11 of us could fit around the cockpit table!

It warms my heart to see multi-generational trip reports. I hope we will be able to take our son, future in law and grandkids on trips.

That fruit your kids were eating is called guinep or Spanish lime. They are now in season and are loved by the locals almost as much as mangoes. For more info, go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melicoccus_bijugatus

Thanks for that!
I'd forgotten what they were called.
The bartender told us that once you eat the meat you can roast the nut in the middle and eat it like a peanut.
