Had breakfast in the villa, omelettes and croissants. Woke up to a cloudy windy day with drizzles off and on. Drove to Anse Marcel, rental didn't like the mountain drive but it made it. Was raining when we first got there so waited in the car for ten minutes and then sun came out. Unfortunatley didn't see much sun today and a lot of wind, but because it's protected on three sides not much waves. Still got a lot of wind though, but sure it was worse in other places. Ate lunch of just burgers and fries, $22 each. Ouch. But very nice place, well taken care of. Our bill at the end of the day with two chairs, four cocktails and lunch came to $97.00.

Came back to villa, got cleaned up, a little pool time and then walked down to La Playa for a drink to check out the winds on Orient. Big waves I guess for Orient. Enjoyed watching the kite boarders, I imagine these were the guys that knew what they were doing, couldn't imagine a novice out there. Looked like a lot more weeds than the first day we were there, but I'm sure they will have them cleaned up by morning.

Dinner consisted of Chicken on the grill and gnocchi back at the villa.

Tomorrow morning moving day, just up the road about 6 houses.

Just curious, why would you move up the road 6 houses in the middle of your visit? Seems like a lot of trouble to me..

Too bad your day at Anse Marcel wasn't perfect but I think you made the most of it. It is such a nice spot. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Kind of wish we didn't move, moved just in case we didn't like the place and wanted to try another one for future trips? Next year we will choose by which one we liked better.

Oh, ok. Hopefully you will enjoy the other place also.

I was wondering the same thing, but figured that maybe there was a booking in the one they were at so they had to move.
