We had a week booked at Maho Oct 29-Nov 5. Sunwing gave us a choice of going to Jamaica, or a full refund. Only had to email them, had the answer in 2 business days, no problem.
We took the refund.

Just for information, Sunwing has cancelled all packages to St Maarten through end of April 2018.
