Does anyone speak enough legalese to know what this is about?!

It sounds like Sun Resorts owns The Towers at Mullet Bay and a lien has been placed on all Sun Resorts properties. Not sure how serious this is and how it affects the timeshare as such.

That was pretty much my take, too. The Towers is one of many properties owned by the Ansary family and seemingly, a lien has been placed on at least six of them which basically means, if I even vaguely understand lien rights, it means they can’t dispose of these six properties until the debt is resolved and/ or the lien is lifted. It’s not a good thing but I don’t think it’s the end of the world either. I hope.......

Carol, your legal mind and expertise are sincerely needed.

Respectfully,

pat

Why would there be a lien? Weren't they rich as sh*t and went without hurricane insurance and decided to rebuild themselves?

This property much be in a holding somewhere.

Pat--I can look at it again. I looked at it once and couldn't figure out what they were talking about. Does Ansari own part of Ennia??

The Court of First Instance has placed a lien on all Sun Resort properties, The Tovers, Mullet Bay land etc. etc., as his owner, also owner of Ennia Insurance, about 40-50% of the local insurance market, was withdrawing funds from Ennia in excess of 100hundred milions usd, making the company rather weak from a financial standpoint. Also in the Netherlands a question time in the Parliament about this funds withdrawal and the stability of Ennia took place a few days ago

Mr. Ansary owns everything that's mentioned.

That's a two year old article, and it even says that the practice has been going on since 2011?! Yikes.
What position were they in to cover things when Irma hit then? titanic

We had excellent service and rational settlement by Ennia after Irma.
