The St. Maarten Tourism Bureau (STB) will be launching ‘Season Celebration’ on November 28 in collaboration with Port St. Maarten
The ‘Season Celebration’ will include local entertainment in the form of steel pan playing band drum band, stilt walkers jester and a mini parade dance at the national seaport Port St. Maarten, Captain Hodge Wharf and the Walter Plantz Square for the arriving visitors.
The visitors will have an opportunity to dance along with the dancers and will be provided with a Carnival mask jester. Entertainment will take place between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Good for the cruisers. Now, how about all the suffering locals? If you keep the tourists captive in the port they're not spending $. Fools.

Agreed, that's a lot of folks. There should be a lot of them that go elsewhere, but hopefully many will see the entertainment as they head out..
