If you were to be proposed to...

...or you were planning to propose to someone in the BVI...where would you choose? Assuming you had the freedom provided by being based on a monohull charter boat.

Some initial ideas to get the ball rolling:

1.) In front of Soggy webcam so the whole family (and world) can watch!
2.) Sandy Cay - with the hermit crabs
3.) Cow Wreck Bay

I've seen several of them in front of Myett's in Cane Garden Bay, they do a really nice job with decorations on the beach. Beautiful spot for the sunset too.

Personally, I don't care for the idea of a proposal as a 'spectator sport', but that's probably just me. I personally would prefer someplace private, at sunset..

I agree with Carol - a private location. I proposed to my wife in Bermuda. No special spot planned, just carried the ring with me and found a nice spot on a hill with a good view and surprised her.

Just make sure where ever it is, it is in a spot where dropping the ring wouldn't be catastrophic!

Just don’t be the Bridezilla mother in law running around white bay a few years back demanding everyone move their anchored yachts so the would not be in the wedding photo’s!

Did anyone move their boat?

Or did they hang out their washing and parade around in inappropriate clothing?! That might be my response!

I hope not. Would have been a great naked photo bomb.
