We booked a one week Charter with Dream Yacht. We had a very good time overall, but I would highly recommend using Moorings or Tradewinds. We have used them in the past & the professionalism & organization are exponentially better than Dream Yacht.

The good -
Bali 5.4 = great layout for 2 families, was clean & comfortable
Captain Ge' Ge' was fantastic & a sailors sailor

The bad-
Just no communication. Period. I'm not sure if the staff are aloof, hate their jobs or simply don't care??
We did not find out Captain info until 5 days prior & that changed the day we arrived.
The boat was apparently late getting back so our 4pm possession time turned into closer to 6pm. Not a huge deal, but no one told us so we were just waiting on dock (hot) for 2 hours while they finished cleaning.
They told us someone must be on Dock at 5pm for provisions. We were there. They arrived at 8:30pm
The cabin A/C stopped working on Day 4 & no one could fix the issue
We received no walk thru
The boat had WiFi but apparently no one new the password

We ask prior to arrival if we could Pre fill out customs forms - we were told No by Dream Yacht. While standing in line for 3 hours before a woman walks in with pre filled our forms, hands to officer & leaves. Make sure you do this as there is only 1 computer operational. Dream Yacht is the only company we have used that makes you stay on the Dock the 1st night of your Charter. This is Non-Negotiable with them. It really cuts into your time at sea & was very disheartening to watch multiple Tradewinds & Sunsail Charters leave port on their 1st day while we sat on the Dock.

There are so many tweaks this company needs to make to even be close to the Charter companies we've used in the past. Obviously we will not use them again, but will be back to St. Martin, Barts & Anguilla. It was great exploring all the Islands!

I hope this helps other families.

Take care

That list of "the bad" out ways the short "good" list.

Yes it did, but we were not going to let these things spoil our trip. Just have to make the best of it.

I can attest that Tradewinds is great! We did one week sails with them twice. Grenadines and BVI and both times very professional.
Great cats, clean, staff wonderful.
Cheers
