Can anyone share their arrival experience at SXM? I was curious as to how the custom lines are, I see some VIP customs services are offered, but
wasn't sure if they were necessary. We will be traveling on AA in August.

We arrived yesterday and there was a plane ahead of us. We were out of the airport within 30 minutes and that included getting luggage.

Customs??? It's very rare that you have to worry about customs on SXM. As far as immigration, normally it's pretty quick, unless you're arriving on a Saturday.

can't wait to use the midweek trip for the first time, especially the airfare cost as well as arrival/processing thru airport

We came through Immigration with no issues today. We were on DAL461 from JFK. Wrapped up there and out to baggage and our bags were there. Relatively painless compared to a Saturday!
