Sint Maarten Yacht Club

Ate here twice and had the same thing twice.

Eggs Benedict & Bloody and Virgin Bloody Marys.

The service is always friendly with a smile, quick but not hurried.

Watching the bridge/yacht’s is fun.

There are always a couple yachts that look like Mr Drysdale bought/chartered it for some nice people named the Clampett’s.

Second visit had to park past nowhere special rum bar and walk back.

Always a great place to watch the yachts go out and come in!

Same with the drunken pancakes. Way to sweet. Like eating and over sized coconut macaroon saturated in syrup.

Curious about your eggs Benedict. I've always loved their Eggs Norwegian, which are just a different take on a Benedict, but the last time I had them (this past December), the eggs were overcooked, and the sauce wasn't nearly as tasty as it had been in the past. I'm hoping this was just an anomaly (although everyone in our group had the same issue), and the next time we go it will be back to its prior quality. Were your eggs properly cooked?

Did you send it back? I would have had them redo it.

Unless food is inedible, I never send it back. Anyone can have an off day.

Granted but what you are paying for is to have your food cooked properly.

Eggs were cold and undercooked..was a Sunday and other tables like I did sent them back...They were packed. Had to wait about 1 hour until we were re-served. I won’t go on a Sunday again. It happens.

I don't necessarily disagree, but sometimes it's just not worth the wait. I have questioned a steak once that I ordered mid-rare, and it came out mid-well. The waiter acknowledged that he had picked up the wrong steak from the line, and brought me another. This was in a high-end restaurant in the US. At the Yacht Club, I would expect to have to wait quite a while, as bran suggested in the comment above mine; and it's just not worth it.

Yes. Sometimes it's not worth the wait especially if others in your group are already eating. If that is the case I usually just send it back and have it taken off my bill and nibble on my wife's entree as most of the time she never finishes hers. Everyone has their own standards and I respect that.

If you don't let them no you are dissatisfied, how will they know what customers think?
