We had to overnight in Madrid going to Gijón and on the way back to Houston. Plaza mayor was empty . When ever we are in Madrid we always enjoy dinner at botín the oldest restaurant in the world

Wow I always thought Stiftskeller St. Peter in Salzburg was the oldest restaurant. Documented in the Bishop of Salzburg writings that Charlemagne and he dined there in 803 AD.
Matters not wink

Thanks for all the pics of Spain. I so want to be there.
When were you there last?
I saw shots with mask so it must have been fairly recently????.

Have you thought about consolidating pictures into a single trip report with pictures - I know I would love to see it!

We spent two months- (August- October 2020) working from home at my laws in Gijon Northern Spain. We flew Houston-Chicago- Brussels-Madrid-Gijon on the way there. On the way back it was Gijon- Madrid-Dallas-Houston. We took a few trip from Gijon to Benidorm, Mallorca and Santigo. We also did day trips to Lastres.
