My wife and I are traveling to SXM October 31 for 2 weeks. My question is would it better to get our test results sent to my email or would it be better for her to submit it under her email. Testing is our next problem as we prefer Walgreens rapid testing but we are both having difficulty with there site. Our current plan is to book the cvs antigen test with results back in a few hours.does this make sense

Based upon what others have posted here since this has been going on, I would submit each under a separate email.

When we went in May we used same email. Had no problems with EHAS approval.

The conventional wisdom is that it is better to use separate emails. I don't really see a downside to using separate emails. And you will get the emails from EHAS to report your temperature for the first five days, and I don't know how that would be handled, if you have the same email.

As far as testing, not sure what your problem is with the Walgreens website. We had no problems with that website at all. As far as the CVS test, if you are able to get it, it's all good.

As far as temperature reporting they both came with same email for us.

Scuba--ok.

This trip, we only got the emails for the first 4 days, not 5. I had saved the email from the day before and I clicked on that one, and it automatically defaulted to day 5 and I put in my info. Eric had deleted his, so just didn't worry about the last day.

We are testing on the 24th for a 26th flight. I've seen where the home Abbot Binax Now Antigen test results don't say that it is a home test. The lab results are exactly like those coming from Walgreens. I am going to submit that to EHAS. If it's not approved within 4 hours, or rejected...then I'll just keep my appointment at Walgreens.

Have two of the home kits to take to the island with us as well, as they are acceptable for US re-entry. Keep them in your carry on though! Efficacy degrades if subjected to the temps of checked luggage in the belly.

Thanks Carol and all. We leave the States Dec. 4 for 10 wonderful days, our first trip to the Island after 2 years and 3 re-bookings. I've been through the postings and the Travel Site, just want to be sure I have it right, I'm a bit nervous. If I understand correctly, we both need to test within 72 hours of departure, then complete the EHAS Application and submit with the test results. Also, we don't need to purchase the Covid Insurance since we have health insurance. Finally are there fees involved to SXM Govt. with any of this. Thanks in advance all.

We are leaving for St Maarten in 26 days. Based on my research, everyone must purchase the Covid insurance regardless of any other health insurance you might already have.

Newt--again, it is 72 hours if it is a PCR test, but 48 hours for an antigen test.

Regarding the SXM health insurance, it is REQUIRED regardless. I personally find it a total waste of $15, but required nonetheless.

You can't complete the EHAS application without purchasing the required covid insurance for 15.00. You will not receive approval without it.
