!. Yes, that is the way we go since we stay in the village. However, if coming from French Quarter direction, it's easier to turn right on the old road. 2. Weekly passes are not always available, but if you get one you get 7 tags to be used in 10 days. Not sure of the current cost - used to be $100, but daily fees have gone from $20 to $25. 3. No volleyball on Club O beach, but there is a net further up. 4. No longer a family week. Beach was usually filled by 10 when we were there in January. .5. I can't answer
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Thank you all. Very helpful. Yes - I remember the other road now. Didn't know if it was still good to use. On volleyball, it was curious to me when it left because it happened quickly. Wondered if that was a covid thing or permit thing or 'just because'... I will check back in late June about how summer numbers are looking to know when chairs might be filled in the mornings.

On volleyball, it was curious to me when it left because it happened quickly. Wondered if that was a covid thing or permit thing or 'just because'... My very unofficial observation of the volleyball activities at the Club O beach since the hurricane is that the epicenter of beach volleyball on Orient beach has migrated to the area just south of Bikini Beach. There have been several times when some games got started since then on Club O beach, but there never seemed to be enough participants to keep the games going. I suppose a lot of the people playing near Bikini Beach didn't want to play "au naturale" or weren't comfortable on that section of the beach. It also seems like the players up by Bikini are considerably younger overall compared to the folks that hang out on Club O beach. I really miss playing at Club O beach...
