Just returned from Tortola and discovered a new place with a million dollar view! Stoutt's Look Out sits high above Cane Garden Bay on Windy Hill just before you make the right turn down toward Bananakeet. When we walked in the man himself, Mr. Prince Stoutt was there with a big welcoming smile. We sat looking down toward CGB and I couldn't stop taking pictures. The water was every shade of blue!! Below the deck area bananas trees are growing. The bananas are used in drinks like a BBC. I had the yummy Stoutt's Look Out punch made by Nicole . Glass blowfish hang above the bar, lively music plays in the background and pictures from around Tortola hang on the walls. Lunch will be served soon with the menu including burgers and fish. Mr. Stoutt said the menu will be expanding come January. Another plus... Very modern and clean bathrooms! We enjoyed it so much that we stopped by two more times. An awesome place you must try!

Stoutt's has become one of our favorite stops since it opened almost 2 years ago, and we'll be going there a couple times again in Feb. Prince is a great guy and always remembers a face. Getting the kitchen going has been a long process, but hopefully it pans out soon.

Is this walk-able from CGB? I recall a Rasta-painted bar on the way to Bananakeet with a good view too.

I like to stretch my legs out and think that a hike up the hill to Stoutts would be a good walk with a reward.

Thanks in advance...

Stoutt's is painted in Rasta colors. It's a pretty good hike up that hill and I would be very careful of the traffic flying down it.

I would suggest that Stoutt's isn't a reasonable walk from CGB! Just think about it.

But I DO love that pic! Exactly WHAT is that first guy on the left? An elfen hamburger?

So happy to see this place get some attention! We too had a wonderful afternoon with Mr. Stoutt and staff - so welcoming and friendly. The super strong rum punch and views are some of the best on island IMO. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

There is a view from Stouts at around the 8:40 mark. It was a great happy hour with free wings and $2 Caribs. Priceless view.

Great video of your trip - one of the better compilations I have seen of a BVI trip. We are heading down in mid-February. Did you hop a cab from CGB to Stoutt's?

We chartered from Conch and rented a car for the day to cruise around Tortola. I love driving the switchbacks, but only during the day.
