Good news if it happens and not just more political lip service which happens a lot on SXM.. 2027 is a long time and with Island time lets hope they can keep the water disasters to a minimum until then. I you have to stay on the French side I would look for a property with a water cistern and good generator. IMO

Electric honestly doesn't seem to be that big a problem on the French side. Water is a big problem though. I definitely would not book somewhere on the French side now that does not have a source of water.
