Does anyone know what if any hotels let you park for free or at a discount while sxm if you stay the night before your flight?

When we stay there and leave from JFK we do the park sleep and fly package. Usually get up to ten days included in our room rate. It has been three years since we went to SXM so I can't recall how much it was

Not any one particular. Whichever one has the best offer at the time. They are not the greatest but decent for a night sleep and reasonable parking. Saves fighting the early morning NY traffic.

We stayed at Best Western and used the AutoPark just across the street from the hotel. 1 overnight plus 10 days of parking came to approximately $350. It was the first time we did tho in our 26 years years of going to SXM and we found it to be a very good experience. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and the guys at the auto park were terrific.

We have never stayed at a hotel, it's about a 90 minute ride and just don't see the advantage for us, may save an hour of sleep, we had a 7:10am flight last Sunday, and just left around 4:15am, parked in long term and took the AirTran to the terminal, it's 18.00 per 24 hour period, charged in 8 hour increments at 6.00 per hour

When we went in February, we parked with Airlot. $10/day plus a ride to the terminal and back. Will do that again in May.

Check Yelp! for reviews.

If your main priority is to save money, why not just take the train to the plane. No hotel, no parking required.

Also, peace of mind that my car is safe in my garage.

We do it every trip from Long Island, but Norwalk is do-able too

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on a stay, park and fly several times. The hotel is adequate and it is very convenient to use. The parking lot is right next door to the hotel.

We have reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn this year for our trip to Mexico. I've heard good things about the HGI also. The cost is about $260 for the room and 7 days parking.

We live about 2.5 hours from JFK and it is very nice to start off vacation the night before in NYC. It takes all the pressure off of me in the morning since I don't have to drive through ANY traffic. It's all up to the shuttle driver smile
