I know someone will know the answer. I want to purchase a converter plug for my iphone and Kindle so that I can charge them on the French side. Any suggestions for the right product. It needs to be able to handle 110-220. Many thanks. 12 days and counting.

I purchased the Apple World Traveler Adaptor Kit because I also live in Spain...I don't have a kindle, so don't know about that, but it works on my iphone and ipad

You really do not need any Apple specific product. The charger cable/plug you have is 110-240 compatible. Just get a cheap plug adapter for a few bucks and it will do the job. ...and it will work for your laptop as well (if you have one). Works fine with my Kindle Fire HDX

Not pushing any product but just showing what you need...

You just need a prong converter. The majority of cell phone and laptop power cords are already dual voltage, just look at the charger and you will see Input 100 - 240 V 50/60Hz.

We use an adaptor (actually a few of them) and a multi-port charger so we don't need to carry all the chargers for each device:

You plug your Iphone charger cable wall plug right into the small adaptor so I can't understand why it wouldn't charge. We used in in Spain for 2 weeks and on 3 trips to France

Also used the same adapter for my camera, laptop and Kindle Fire (actually got a pack of 5 and just put them on my devices)

Can get the adapter in Marigot for about $2. Works for most smart phones and tablets. The chargers are 110/220 volts, so an adapter is all that is needed. Clem

If you find yourself without an adapter, it may also be possible to plug into the television set. Most newer TV's have a USB input port. You can skip the little transformer box and plug right into the port.
