We had a bottle of champagne in the fridge and I wasn't sure when we would be able to have it, so decided mimosas were in order this morning!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

I agree Carol! But a really nice thing is to put the table ON the sand near the water!! Our perfect time! Unfortunately didn't happen this trip but hopefully on the next one!! Oh! And a sunset dinner on the beach is wonderful too!! Best part is my hubby does the cooking!

I wouldn't think to do that, as I always sit in the shade. Does sound lovely!

Early morning and late afternoon are perfect times! Just stay long enough to eat!! We actually have NEVER used the dining table inside until we went with friends. They insisted on staying inside to eat. I dream all winter about having my toes in the sand! lol

Best kind of breakfast ever! After those I usually need a nap on the beach...lol

We tend to purchase Prosecco in SXM and mix with juices...yum. Mango, or passion fruit...delish. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

Love it!

We are seriously thinking of a trip to SXM, this may have sealed the deal! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

We actually did not use the table inside--except for the computer!!--until December last year. This year we have eaten inside a few times. The weather has been somewhat cooler this year and a nice amount of wind..

The beach looks great. We made a visit to BSV in early May to see the units and the beach was covered with piles and piles of seaweed. Guess it has finally stopped arriving.

We invested in a champagne bottle cap purchased at a winery in the Finger Lakes, NY and now take it everywhere on vacation. It works fantastically at keeping the "Bubbly" bubbly. Perhaps a place like Baccus has them for sale??

I should look around for that, haven't seen it. We did end up with a little 'cap' thing from one of the bottles of wine we bought at Super U, that fit pretty tight, and it kept it pretty well until the next day.

You totally need something like this Carol:
http://www.amazon.com/Winco-811642017703-upc-Champagne-Stopper/dp/B005I4GP3Y

We travel with one that I purchased from Korbel on a California wine tour. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

We actually don't drink that much champagne, I guess partly because of this issue, so definitely looks like something I need to get!!

Yes, it is on Simpson Bay. If you go to Sunset Bar and Grill and make a left immediately before going through the archway for (now) Alegria, go down about a quarter mile and take the first left, and go all the way to the end.

A teaspoon in the neck of the bottle keeps it fizzy for days
