We are looking forward to being on the club O beach Sept 19 - 26. We like the prospect of a much less crowded beach but we know Papagayo will be closed. What is on the menu for lunch at the Perch?

Also, my wife wants me to ask what are the favorite "Chick" drinks ordered at the Perch.

It does look nice and peaceful right now on the beach, but I've never thought that Club O's beach was over-crowded, especially in relation to just north of the rocks. We literally had to climb over people last year to eat at Orange Fever.

The Perch has burgers, really good hot dogs, BBQ chicken, ribs, and in the past when Papagayo was closed, the Perch carried a limited part of their menu.

I'm not a "chick", but my wife enjoys anything ending in "colada" (especially pina and guavaberry).

I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

I am a chick, but still prefer the less sweet drinks. That said, Willie makes a kick-a$$ BBC. Next time we go, I plan to try her lemon breeze, as I've heard that's good also, and maybe not as sweet.

All Willie's drinks are great! The BBC is a meal and the lemon breeze is dessert. I find the BBC very filling, but the lemon breeze is quite refreshing. Sex on the Beach and All Over Tan are great drinks too!

I don't care for sweet drinks myself either. BBC tastes good, but as you said, it's a meal, and I'd rather have a burger and fries! And a burger and fries doesn't give you that pesky 'brain freeze'!!

Will the Perch be open in September? Last year they were closed when we were in SXM which was a huge bummer.

Yes, it has been stated here several times that the Perch will be open this year, and it was either on the Club O website or in a newsletter they put out, can't remember which. It kind of makes sense they would be open this year, since the restaurants down the beach will be closed, so they should stay busier. Not actually sure whether Willie will be there, as I think someone said she will be going on vacation, but the Perch will be open. It is going to be closed one day a week, possibly Monday, although not certain on that.

Previous report was that the Perch would be open Tuesday through Saturday for the duration of the annual Club Orient closure.

There's a small fortune to be made in racing; just start with a large one.

Well we are both fans of a simple Grey Goose and Club with lime but happy hour on vacation at the Perch HH brings out the frozen drinks. We like the BBC and the Orient Express!

Although many places on the island can do one, the Perch will give you a decent Bushwhacker but the best one can be had at Mr. Busby's at Dawn Beach.

Here's the Perch Menu from June 2014. I don't think it has changed much.
