Not bad at all right now. Rain, some wind, but nothing drastic so far. My AA flight to Miami was cancelled today. I'm rebooked through Philly on Saturday.

According to that story, closest point is not until 4 PM today, so quite a while to go yet!

What's the weather like in SXM now? The Club Orient webcam doesn't look very bad at all now. The Villas at Great Bay webcam looks to have been taken down, I guess.

Yes, the gal who takes care of the house here has a house she just built on Dominica. She is really worried.

Dominica is really geting flooded. there is a video on this link which shows the raging force of water just destroying a building. there are reports on the radio that at least 3 are missing due to landslides.

8.86 inches of rain in 6 hr was just reported for Dominica!!!

Can't really tell much on that shot, as it is just a still shot, but doesn't look bad at all. Hopefully the island will at least get some decent rain.

The 2 PM advisory shows Erika slightly weaker, BUT as of now, looks to be almost a direct hit as hurricane on the Florida coast on Monday morning!!

On the Club O webcam, there was seaweed on the beach this morning, but none now. The waves look a little higher than normal, but not bad.

I was watching the Weather Channel a few minutes ago and they said wind gusts to 50 mph on SXM, but the radar looks like the precipitation is south of SXM at the moment.
