SBR members (owners) may now view just posted pictures of the newly renovated Marina Building on the SBR website ( www.simpsonbayresort.com). See "Members" section, "Renovation Pictures". The various units are quite beautiful. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> The Flamboyant (beachfront) Building remains the only building to be renovated at this point.

If you go to the simpsonbayresort website, anyone can view the pictures of the renovation at the Marina Building, as of today, unless there are additional pictures that aren't viewable by the regular link.

january said: At one time you could look at each of the building's suites. They had a series of pictures showing the rehab. progress and the finished product and anyone could view them. I guess that is no longer the case. Just looked at them all. Every configuration is there to look at. Nice job too.

I think the rumor of a tribal purchase of SBR is now assumed to be a no go since they went ahead with the Marina building and waterfront upgrade. That area (including F bldg.) and the casino property would have been the obvious choice for their new hotel/casino/waterfront complex. I would think you will get an invoice for the renovation assessment around February. Nothing to contradict the last statement by SBR: Due to the logistics involved in the extensive renovations to both the Marina building and the marina waterfront, it would have been impractical to renovate the Flamboyant building simultaneously. Had we renovated all areas at the same time, construction staging would have eliminated almost all available parking and restricted access to the beach and the Marina pool. Therefore, we have rescheduled renovation of the Flamboyant building to 2016. My opinions only....
