We will be making our annual trip this March. Each year I try a different car rental place in the hopes of finding the perfect one to use again... Please let me know your suggestions! We prefer to be picked up at airport and not needing a shuttle to get to the rental place. Thanks!

Yes, we used him last year. Very convenient but the car was quite "worn". Any other suggestions?

We've always been of the mindset that one of his 'lovingly used' cars (as I like to call them) is a better bet than a new one that you have to worry about with all the pitfalls of potential dings and dents driving on SXM can cause. But to each his own. There aren't a lot of companies that are willing to go the extra step of delivering the car to the airport these days, and of those who do, you may still have to go to their office to do the paperwork in the car itself. Seems to me I read that Leisure Car Rentals may provide the car at the airport but I'm not certain of that.

Wonderful choice. Great service. Whilst your first impression may have been of the car.......it is merely, after all....just a car....and once you've driven (or parked!) in SXM, whatever moves you comfortably from point A to point B reliably is the best. On island I don't look pristine and spiffy....certainly don't need my car to either. Casual and comfy is fine. The days of dressing for dinner and wearing jewels out are long gone. Different times.
