I'm assuming topless at the pool is fine since this is the French side? Please let me know if it is not. Haven't stayed here in 15 years.

It is accepted, but not common, in the past few years we have been staying there.

We stayed at Mont Vernon last June. We used the pool almost daily. There were always topless women including my wife (who would never be the only one to go topless)... also topless women on the beach there... a very laid back and relaxing place.

We stayed at Mont Vernon in February, 2013 and 2015. Every day while we were there, we saw topless women at the pool.

A French friend once told me that if you are on French soil near any water - the tops come off: beach, pool, pond, lake. I know there is a large swimming pool in Paris where the norm is definitely topless.

So a pool near the ocean (like Mt Vernon) is a natural.

We were there a few weeks ago, there were not many people by the pool, but a few days there were one or two topless women. Let us know how the entrance road is. When we were there it was terrible, but I understand they are in the process of rebuilding parts of it.
