There were around 8 of us that went last year a week before the fire and we enjoyed it very much. Great laid back atmosphere. No mosquitoes that I recall. Not sure about the prices but they must not have been that bad or I would have remembered. If you haven't ever been, walk the area while you are there. It would be a very relaxing place to visit during the day but it seemed a little expensive.

Menu with prices is on their website here

I've only been there during the day, not at night, and do not recall being bothered with mosquitoes, but I would definitely make sure that you come prepared with mosquito repellent, in case you need it. Their food is wonderful.

We ate there a couple of times and the place is beautiful and the food is excellent. Definitely off the beaten path.

Nice place to dine. Always try the chefs specials. Never had a bad meal. Do remember paying in Euros. Always bring small bug spray, you are in the jungle. Always found a little spritz on the legs under table was a good precaution. That is almost a necessity for all locations.

Personally I would not go there at night unless you go with a group. We have always gone for lunch and take a walk around the grounds after. Very relaxing place.

we also have only gone during the day. The drive to and from the general area can be intimidating enough at night but the driveway in and out would NOT be my first choice for nighttime travels, for sure, but for those considering dinner there, I'd personally suggest a daytime dry run.

The food is yummy though we've only done lunches and as daytime diners, we had no issue with moskies. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
