Rainbow Beach Club - 11/25/2017 05:17 PM

We are looking to return in May after missing our week which would have started today <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />. We are looking at staying at the Rainbow Beach Club. Has anyone stayed there who might be able to provide some pros or cons? The Owner says the Club was not damaged by the hurricane. Thanks!

It's not a Club. It's a residence with all wholly owned condos. Some are rented, some are residences.

It's possible THAT unit was not damaged, as some were not. Most owners have some repair and some have huge losses.

Having said that, the property is in good shape. All the pools have been drained, cleaned and refilled, gardener has been doing his magic. All the debris has been carted away and reconstruction is in full swing. Outside is still pretty beat up but getting there. Lots will be accomplished between now and May.

Elaine is spot on. Many of the units were not impacted at all and some were severely impacted. Speaking of someone who went through it--as did Bill & Elaine, clean up started almost the day after the hurricane. We have not been there since the end of Oct. but Elaine is there now and gives a good report of what is going on. I would guess that by May Rainbow will be pretty good shape.
