Divi Little Bay

Any updates on the progress of renovations at Divi? I'm booked for my week 22 (June 2 - 9th. I called several times requesting a 2nd week but was told they are completely booked and are not allowing non-contractual week bookings. A bit confusing. I'm wondering if they really will be up and running as promised by May. I can't even book the airline because of this.

Last I heard was most of damage was on first floor due to flooding and they expected to operational by April 2018. Some people with weeks during closed time opted to go to other Divi locations. Makes sense that they would only accommodate those with weeks and not do any escallations.

I also heard they expect an Apri/May opening. I wouldn't be surprised if not all units are complete and those that are not will become available as they are completed.

I agree that they likely are saying they are booked because all available rooms are booked; I suspect renovations will not be complete on all rooms. I am booked for my three weeks in June but would be very surprised, and thrilled, if I am able to use my own room.

And I haven't seen anything from Divi that refers to an April opening; all I've seen states May.

As an annual RCI exchanger into DIVI, I'm at the bottom of the totem pole for accurate info re IRMA damage and schedule for occupancy by building.

Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the Divi Timeshare Owners and Friends Facebook page. I was off line sick and when I came back it was gone.

That Facebook page has been taken down. IMHO, it's a good thing since it was so one-sided. Any posts that were remotely critical of Divi were taken down; I know because some of mine were. I'm glad that page is gone because it was so one-sided.
