Kenny's Car Rental

We returned to the island once again and can't say enough about the great people of Sint Maarten and St Martin. We rented a Nissan Versa from Lesley Bruce at Kenny's Car Rental. I agree with all the positive comments about Kenny's Car Rental and Leslie Bruce, but I want to add one more very important one. I left my phone in the car. I realized it after checking my bags at departures. I immediately turned around and Leslie was there with my phone. He actually went to departures, obtained permission to enter the departures area, went past security, and returned my phone to me. I couldn't believe it. There is no way anyone would do this for you anywhere else. Leslie is amazing. He provides great service even to the point of chasing me down to return my phone. I can't say enough good things about Kenny's Car Rental. Thank you Leslie!

I totally agree, he is amazing! He is in our opinion, the best on the island, and a great person! Im sure there are a lot of others that are great, but they just don’t compare to Leslie!

I also am not surprised to hear of this. I have used Lesley for many years and will continue to do so. He is the best!!!

This IS the service that Lesley provides!! He has gone above and beyond for us as well. He is there if you need something! Most confuse making a reservation, getting the car and paying, with "service". Lesley actually does provide service!

Even without 'extra' services like yours, it is really convenient to just get in the car and go and also drop it off at the airport!

I can only agree and then some!

Too often people rent cars the way they buy insurance - i.e. they shop prices and not benefits, and all too often they only realize the difference when a situation arises.

We’ve used Lesley for what seems like forever and we’ve known him all the way back to his Mullet Bay/Holliday Car Rental Days. He’s not only reasonably priced and honest but he’s always there when a situation arises. He’s seen us through flat tires, a dead battery (which I confess may have been caused by our own failure to turn off the lights when we parked for the night) and the time our car was vandalized and broken into he even met us on the beach and gave us his personal car to use while he waited for the wrecker to collect the rental. And on top of that, he wouldn’t take anything for the damage done or the cost of the repair, nor did he submit an insurance claim. He is a true gentleman and goes out of his way for all his customers. I’ve tried others when price was critical but our experiences are, you get what you pay for and with Lesley, it’s all about taking good care of his peeps, whether you’re a newbie to his company or old timers like us..

Thanks dear Pat and yes Mullet Bay was the days when the Island was a " Heaven". I was part of Management , hence eat for free at all of the restaurants. Loved Bamboo Gardens , Chinese top of the line food. And not forgetting The Frigate Steak House . lol !

Ah, Lesley! The Frigate! It was probably my favorite of all the SXM restaurants back in the day.

I think they had the first and possibly the only salad bar on the island back in those days. Their grilled steaks were delicious and the wait staff was incredible. Some nights they used to almost dance their way through dinner - must not have been any ‘big cheese’ managers working on those nights! 😊😊

We have been using Kenny's for years and would not consider dealing with anyone other than Leslie Bruce. Hoping to see Leslie in Oct if La Plage opens.
