Happy birthday to TTOL and to Jules!

Today is the day that TTOL went live in 2000. Time flies!!

And by pure coincidence, August 14 was also the day we brought home our pound puppy Jules, who was a stray and they thought around 2 at that time. It's now been 11 years. He has always kind of been a work in progress, but a joy also!

Sweet looking senior dog. As dogs age they need more attention and are more clingy. All they want is love. Happy Birthday Jules and many more.

Scubaman--Jules has always been kind of a loner, and he still is that, kind of his own dog, but he has developed a very nice relationship with our other shelter pup (who will be turning five in 10 days).

Louise--we have made an amazing number of friendships over the years here.

Our daughter has a shelter dog and others in the past. Seems that most come with issues and require lots of love and understanding.

Scubaman--Jules has always had 'issues', but our younger shelter dog we have has been much less trouble. His name is Teddy and HIS birthday is August 25. That's his actual birthday. He will be 5.

Neil--Lots of good times over the years!!

Kathleen--this forum is nothing without the members! Without you guys, we'd just be talking to ourselves!

Well, yes, it used to be, before he wore out the squeaker!!

Funny how that happens. Sometimes it's a good thing. LOL

He has lots of other squeaky toys.

You must miss them when you're in SXM. Too bad they couldn't come along to. Beautiful dogs.

Yes, for sure we miss them when we go away. Jules is too big to go under the seat and I don't think he would do well regardless. Teddy would probably do ok, but then I'd worry about him when we went out to dinner. They are perfectly happy when we are gone, as we have a lady that comes in to take care of them a couple times a day and she often hangs out here for several hours and spoils them rotten!

I know what you mean. We take our dog to our daughters house when we vacation and our lab loves it. Sometimes we think she is disappointed when we return and pick her up. We refer to it as doggy vacation camp.

I remember when you got Jules!
But I don't remember when you got the 5 year old.
